The Stanleycaster
The Montana/Maine connection. Here's a three piece poplar body that's going to be finished out in Montana.
The idea is a simplified/complicated wiring scheme set inside a classic style body. The body is thin (1-1/2" thick) and light (about four pounds) that will be fitted with a hardtail bridge and a custom pickguard.
Wondering about the simplified/complicated wiring? You'll just have to head over to the official build journal to read up on it.
-Currently under construction-

UPDATE FOR 08-24-10
The body is nearly finished and needs only a final sanding. We don't have the neck on hand so we used an identical neck (Squier Stratocaster) to make sure everything is going to work out. The customer has decided on a nice hardtail bridge, similar to that found on the Squier 51.
The next step is to cut out the pickguard which should be done this week.
